Setup by setup
1 Go Start Up Program Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
2 Go to File Tab and Click New Website
3 Select Asp.net Web Site and press OK
4 . Drag n drop GridView from toolbox on your form.
5. Add northwinds Sample database in your App_Data Folder
6. Click on Right Side of Gridview Smart tag for GirdView Tasks
7. Select Choose Data Source New DataSorces and Select SQL Data Sorces
8. Next and Select Customer Table check all fields .
9. Next Finished
10 Press F5.
